Aladdin- India’s biggest visual extravaganza


India is all set to receive it’s very first intensive VFX film- Aladdin, based on the popular fairy tale, with none other than the Big B playing the role of the adorable Genie- called ‘Genius, the Genie’ in the movie. A modern adaptation of the classic children’s fairytale, the movie revolves around the life of a boy with the title namesake ‘Aladdin’ who is teased for having a name inspired from a fiction tale. Aladdin, played by Ritesh Deshmukh in the movie, however, chances upon a stroke of luck one day and finds a magic lamp that leads him to genius and his uneventful life changes forever.

And when there is a hero and a Hindi movie script, there ought to be a heroine and a villain somewhere. The lead female actor’s role Jasmine is played by debutante Sri lankan actress Jacqueline Fernandes. And the villain is being played by none other the bollywood’s bad boy- Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay Dutt plays a ring master in the movie who wishes to steals the lamp from Aladdin so as to regain his lost powers once again.

Eros brings to India, what is pitted to be Bollywood’s biggest visual extravaganza, with an unprecedented quality and magnitude of special effects in the movie. If you thought, Krissh was something to hold out for, the producers and the crew insist, wait till you watch Aladdin.
